Learning in Public

I keep this journal not because I have answers, but because writing forces the question into shape.

The Method

1. Learn something until it surprises you.
2. Write it before you fully understand it.
3. Publish the half-formed version.
4. Let the gap between what you wrote and what you now know do the teaching.

This is learning in public. It is slower. It is scarier. It is the only way I know that compounds.
